What’s New!
is THE place to visit if you’re looking for first-time exhibitors with products brand new to the Global Pet Expo market

The Natural Pet
is one of the fastest growing specialty sections at Global Pet Expo and across the industry. Located in a new area in the far left of the show floor, this section is reserved for exhibitors who focus on holistic and natural pet products. If you’re interested in green, organic or environmentally friendly pet products, we suggest you add this to your list of destinations on the show floor.

The Boutique is designed with fashion-forward buyers in mind. Now in a new location on the show floor, buyers should head to the right of the entrance to take a walk on the trendy pink carpet if bling, flair and luxury pet products are your thing!IMG_3186

Everything Aquatic is fishing for new business! If you are in the market for
fresh, new aquatic products you’ll definitely want to head on over to this special section to test the waters.

The International Pavilion showcases exhibitors and products from across the globe. Visiting this section can open up your business to a world of new and exciting opportunities.

Members of the Media: What to Expect at Global Pet Expo in 2016

If you’ve been to Global Pet Expo in the past, you know that its the place to be to get the scoop on the latest and greatest pet products, new and emerging trends, spending predictions for upcoming years and more! If you have never attended the pet industry’s largest annual trade show, now is the time! Visiting every booth on the Show Floor is equivalent to walking over three miles and you can see, smell, touch and even pet the sweet things our exhibitors bring. After all, all trails lead here!

The New Products Showcase, which boasted over 900 new products last year, is your one-stop-shop for new product and trend stories. If you can’t remember all 900 of them, we have you covered.

Global Pet Expo staff is on hand in the Press Office to provide photos and information on all New Products Showcase winners. This space, dedicated to media, is where you can connect to free wifi, refuel on snacks and drinks, and be front and center for all scheduled press conferences. If you’re interested in something specific, let us know in advance and we will do the scouring for you… even schedule a tour and we’ll show you around!

If you’re still hungry for more information the Industry Breakfast will be chock full of the latest research, industry trends and consumer spending predictions for the upcoming year

Wind down from a full day on the show floor at the Media Reception where you can enjoy a refreshing cocktail and appetizers while you mingle 833A8663with colleagues or interview fellow journalists.

Just remember, the Show is only open to qualified members of the press such as writers, editorial staff, publishers and bloggers. Registration opens November 1, 2015.

Planning Ahead: Global Pet Expo 2016

Although you do have a bit of time, it’s never too early to start planning to exhibit at the pet industry’s largest annual trade show. In fact, our 2016 Exhibitor Floor Plan is live on the website and the Booth Application is available online, so now is the perfect time to brush up on planning tips and make sure your Show experience is the best one yet!

Because we know planning for the Show can be overwhelming, we’ve prepared some tips to help you get a few things out of the way:

  1. Review the Floor Plan and reserve your booth space

Securing your booth space is the first step toward a successful experience at Global Pet Expo and there is a reason we release it early. Plan ahead and secure your booth space now before we sell out!

  1. Assess booth space materials to determine 2016 needs

If you are a returning exhibitor, you probably have an idea of what your booth will look like. If you are a new exhibitor or you have new products or signage you want to display, it’s important to think about what you will want in your booth and what you will need to execute it well.

  1. Plan for Show marketing and promotion

Marketing materials take time to design and produce. Set aside time with your team to discuss what you will want at the Show, whether it is brochures, postcards, flyers or other materials. Brainstorm ideas for press kits in the press office. Think about budgeting for advertisements in the pet industry trades and note the dates that artwork will be due. Also, look into budgeting for the many great show sponsorship opportunities.

  1. Review the Show Rules

Make sure you are up to speed on things like official show dress code, age requirements, photography and more, which can all be found in the Show Rules.

  1. Decide what you will highlight at the Show

It’s always helpful to have something new, but it’s important to make sure it is the right product and it is done well. Think about packaging, images and presentation to ensure it is put together well enough to show buyers from some of the top retailers in the industry.
